Hello Everyone,
As I'm sure you've noticed, the Society has started up its newsletter again. Our long-time EHS member, Anne Drury, is the new author of this bi-weekly letter. She will also be writing our quarterly newsletter. Anne comes to us as a very talented individual with a great skill set that fits our Society immeasurably. She is published in a number of Reminiscences and contributed to The History of Easton Volume II. Below is a quick resume of Anne’s career to date: Anne Wooster Drury is a native of Easton and has lived in Easton, for most of her life. A graduate of Bridgewater State College, she taught in both Vermont and New Hampshire before returning to Easton to raise her family. After spending thirty-two years teaching Social Studies at Easton Junior High and later the Easton Middle School, she retired in 2017. Anne also writes poetry and her poems have appeared in many prints and online journals including: The Aurorean A Journal of Nature Poems, Blueline, Ibbetson Street, Poem, Muddy River Review, and RavensPerch. Now that she's been properly introduced, let's continue to give Anne a warm welcome! Arielle
